How to merge PDF files
- Drop two or more PDFs into the box above, or click it to choose files. You can add more at any time.

Good to know
- Each file shows its page count, so you can check that nothing is missing before merging.
- Password-protected PDFs are skipped. Save a copy without the password first.

How it works
How merging works
A PDF is a set of independent pages, each carrying its own text, fonts and images. Merging copies those pages into a new file without redrawing them, which is why nothing gets blurrier and the text can still be searched.
PDF (Portable Document Format) looks the same on every device and printer, which is why it is the standard for documents, forms and scans. A PDF can hold text, vector graphics and images, and several pages in one file.
Frequently asked questions
- Will the quality change after merging?
- No. The pages are copied into the new file as they are, without being redrawn or compressed, so text, images and vector graphics look exactly the same.
- Is anything not carried over?
- Bookmarks (the outline in the side panel) and fillable form fields belong to the whole document rather than to pages, so they may not carry over into the merged file.
- Can I use password-protected PDFs?
- Not yet. Open the file in a PDF reader, save a copy without the password, and add that copy instead.
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. Everything happens inside your browser, so contracts, statements and private photos stay on your device.
- Is it free? Are there limits?
- It is completely free, with no sign-up and no watermark. How much you can process depends only on your device’s memory.
- Does it work on my phone?
- Yes, in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Samsung Internet and other modern browsers.
